Andreas Knie created the industrial design of the new walkie stacker Jungheinrich EMC 110, including complex CAD data, and has developed cost-saving production and assembly concepts with the Jungheinrich developers - for fewer components, less assembly effort, high degree of shared use with other vehicles, optimized access for maintenance and service and a safe, functional and ergonomically designed workplace for the operator.
In order to generate a new model based on an already existing vehicle, various interfaces and identical parts are adopted.
Several patented solutions for easy assembly and disassembly of the trim parts and a consequent reduction of components and assembly costs simplify and accelerate the production processes.
